Church Membership is for all who desire to grow in their faith. If you are not a member of First UMC, you are invited to participate in the classes and join the membership of the church. 

Classes are offered four times a year.  Each class is divided into three sessions.  The sessions move participants through the sequence of the membership vows. 

Session One addresses the basic issues of faith—who is God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit; what is the Bible, worship, etc. 

Session Two explores the history, beliefs, and structure of the United Methodist Church. 

Session Three examines Midland First UMC by focusing our programs, staff and structure for ministry.
