What is Stephen Ministry?
“Stephen Ministry provides a one to one distinctively Christian confidential ministry that opens lives to God’s love and healing.”
Who could benefit from time with a Stephen Minister?
People who would benefit from a Stephen Minister might include those who are hospitalized, terminally ill, bereaved, experiencing a job crisis or divorce, dealing with chronic illness, adjusting to change or going through a time of questioning. A church member and Stephen Minister are paired by the same gender. Names and details are kept within the privacy of the relationship. The length of the relationship is variable, based on the pair’s mutual decision.
